Pocket-sized manuscript almanac including calendar for 1783 with notes on events of previous years; staff and regimental colors of the British Army under Sir Guy Carleton; staff and regimental colors of the Hessian Army under F. Wil. v. Losberg; list of the troops H.M.S.H. the Landgrave of Hesse Cassel; list of Hessian officer casualties and prisoners from 1776 to end of war; map of Manhattan. The almanac is 3x5 in. and ca. 50 pages. Also in the same box is a patent of nobility with seal of Bernard von Wiederhold signed by Emperor Franz II, February 5, 1804.
